Extra calls

An extraordinary call for abstracts on mountains and sustainability is open to fill the slots of a special session on mountains in the International Symposium on Ice in a Sustainable Society (ISS), which will take place in Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain, from 5 to 10 June 2022.

Interesting topics include: mountain hydrology, climate, ecology, glaciers, water security, AFOLU, mountain tourism and sports, mountain policy and economics, traditional and indigenous knowledge and culture, among others.

Abstracts will be received until the reserved slots for oral and poster presentations are filled (click on the links above for more information). Selected works will be published in the Annals of Glaciology: https://www.igsoc.org/annals/a88_call_4_papers.pdf
